Scandinavian Halibut Festival 2016 kicks off on the 5st of August and ends 6st of August.

The competition is a partnership between local fishing camps, sponsors from home and abroad and the local business in Måsøy.

The main organizer is Havøysund Havfiskeforening.

We're starting out a little carefully in 2015 but have already started planning for the 2016 festival.

Our goal is to create ''hustle and bustle'' locally during the fishing contest.

The award seremony will be held in Polarhallen, along with food, drinks and music...
