Welcome to our festival area!

 

Scandinavian Halibut Festival is more than just a fishing contest. Our goal is to contribute to everyone having a good time in Havøysund during the days of the festival. 

 

The actual contest starts up at the break of dawn, but there are lots of other stuff happening during the day and the evening...

 

Friday August 4th

 

06.00   Scandinavian Halibut Festival kicks off day one

18.00   The festival tent opens with music and food/refreshments

02.00   The festival tent closes

 

Saturday August 5th

 

06.00  Scandinavian Halibut Festival kicks off day two

11.00  The tent opens, selling hot dogs and alike...

12.00  Fishing contest for kids(children's contest up to 14 years of age).

14.00  Awards' Ceremony - Children's Contest

20.00  Tent opens

21.00  Awards' Ceremony - Scandinavian Halibut Festival

23.00  Live Music

03.00  The Festival Tent closes
